Once upon a time there lived in a cloud a raindrop. The raindrop's name was Puddle. He would fall, fall, fall, until he hit the ground. There he would float back up and sometimes he came in snow. One day he fell into a well and just then a person came to the well and put Puddle in her water bucket and drank Puddle.
Very nice Anani! I like how you showed the birth, life, and finally the end of Puddle. Great imagery! Keep up the good work!

What a fun imagination you have, Anani, very nice!
ReplyDeleteGreat story! I like that you followed the "rule of threes," which says that writing is more interesting when you use phrases like "fall, fall, fall."
ReplyDeleteAnani--I enjoyed reading your story about Puddle! Partly I enjoyed it because you did a wonderful job of demonstrating the water cycle in an interesting way; by naming the raindrop you helped your readers see the water cycle from a different perspective. Partly I enjoyed your story because I love seeing any work you do! I look forward to reading more stories you've written! Any chance Puddles can be in an adventure with a sailboat?
