Dusty, Dusty, Dust

by Jeffrey Schauermann

Dusty, Dusty, Dust,
     Floating everywhere,
floating in our noses,
     To make itself a lair.

Dusty, Dusty, Dust,
     Landing everyplace,
landing in our kitchen,
     Landing thick as lace.

Dusty, Dusty, Dust,
     Growing every second,
We all get suffocated,

Elena Gets a Job

by Anani Schauermann

Swish, swish, went Elena's paint brush. Tree after tree went on the canvas.  "There, all the trees are done, next are the children," Elena said to herself.  Just then a farmer from the neighboring town (which is ten miles away) rode down the steep, rocky trail, "Good day madam," he said. "Do you happen to know a young woman by the name of Elena Shine?""I happen to be her.'' "Well, the school of Sandville would like to offer the job of being the art teacher because some of the children have requested it,"said the farmer " I will think about it," said Elena.

Fun

by Anani Schauermann

Swish! bang! "Whats that!" said  Harry, running downstairs,  almost bumping into Lizzy who was also going  to the noise.  They ran as fast  as they were allowed to go in the house. They where heading for the living  room right when Emily came out laughing so hard she couldn't  stop. "Whats so funny?" asked Lizzy. Emily, trying to stop laughing, said in quite a funny voice '' I was just going ice skating in the house!" "And how exactly do you that?" said Harry, who was very confused , "Well you just put on socks and then run and slide!" "Man, how much does it cost?" said Lizzy. "It is free!''said Emily.

by Anani Schauermann

There was an old dog for a penny,
He had a lame leg and a kenny,
He had a new hat,
With an old bat,
And in his tall tale he is Denny.

Dogs do Moan

by Jeffrey Schauermann

While doggy came running from home,
She met Mr. Pilly alone,
She cried in alarm,
And ran for the barn,
The poor old doggy did moan.

This morning I woke up, did my morning  chores and ate a breakfast of apple slices, yogurt, cheese sticks,  and toast. It was very good and delicious. After breakfast I did my after-breakfast-chores. Then after that I started my school.

Are You Stuck?

Go,
Not stuck,
Moving, going, arriving,
The farthest, the nearest,
Staying, waiting, sitting,
Very stuck,
